The Opportunity
Under the direction of the Consumer Channel Manager the eCommerce Channel Manager will be responsible for managing Amazon and other marketplace accounts. This role will drive the strategy, performance, and growth of the eCommerce sales channel for Standard Process’ family of brands.
What You’ll Do
- Manage the relationship with our 3P agency to ensure alignment with business objectives, clear communication, and effective execution of strategies, with a focus on driving continued growth of our Amazon business.
- Guide Amazon advertising strategy (e.g., Sponsored Products, DSP, Sponsored Brands) in partnership with our agency, leveraging their executional expertise and thought leadership to maximize return on investment and accelerate growth.
- Alongside the Consumer Channel Manager, develop and manage the annual operating plan for Amazon, including sales forecasts, promotional planning, and advertising budgets.
- Optimize product content and catalog management to ensure accurate listings, compelling creative, and strong search visibility.
- Provide account management of key tasks such as inventory management, order processing, reporting, pricing analysis, ensuring delivery performance, meeting inventory requirements, etc.
- Build strategic relationships with key technology and business leaders to ensure success.
- Improve sales while minimizing disruption to traditional channels of business.
- Partner with our internal marketing team on content and new product launches.
- Set relevant key performance indicators that align with channel and company objectives.
- Use data and analytics to benchmark performance and to drive strategy/actions to meet objectives
- Work collaboratively with legal team on brand protection initiatives
What You Bring
Education:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field
- Master’s degree preferred in a related field of study
Experience:
- 5 to 10 years of experience in related business field
- 3 to 5 years of experience in managing 1P and 3P marketplace relationships
Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
- Solid understanding of the metrics that drive value in an eCommerce business, including traffic metrics, inventory turns, etc.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities and are comfortable with ambiguity.
