We are seeking a Marketplace Platform Product Manager to join the Technology Alliances and Marketplace team, operating at the intersection of Alliances, Sales, Professional Services, Product Management, and cross-functional leadership. This individual will be working with the Marketplace team, product development teams, professional services and Leadership teams. This candidate plays a critical role in ensuring the successful and timely delivery of high-impact Marketplace platform enhancements and architecture, with focus on AWS, AI and automation.

This role requires a strong technical background including AWS experience, AI, and Automation. Marketplace technical experience is a plus. Excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence and coordinate across a broad range of stakeholders across different timezones. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, brings structure to ambiguity, and is passionate about innovation and execution excellence.

In this role, the Marketplace Platform Product Manager will work closely with Marketplace leadership to drive operational rigor to ensure delivered solutions are aligned with the Marketplace roadmap and strategic goals.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Design and architect technical solutions that automate the integration of partner technologies with core platforms

  • Collaborate with internal and external solution architecture teams to develop joint technical roadmaps and implementation strategies

  • Lead technical feasibility assessments and proof-of-concept development for new Marketplace initiatives as they relate to the platform

  • Provide technical guidance and oversight for complex integration projects and development teams

  • Identify and evaluate new technology partnership opportunities to drive the Marketplace roadmap and platform

  • Collaborate with Product Management to ensure successful implementation and delivery of packaging and deployment technologies to the Marketplace platform

  • Monitor and report on technical project milestones and deliverables

Desired Qualifications

  • Advanced exposure to broad technical skills such as Object- -Oriented programming Programming (JAVA or C#), relational databases (data modelling/SQL), web UI (design and development), data formats, application architecture  

  • Proven experience with AWS platform and cloud technologies including deployment, scaling, and monitoring.  

  • Strong understanding of enterprise software architecture, APIs, and cloud platforms

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to present to executive audiences

  • Experience with marketplace platforms or partner ecosystems

  • Demonstrated ability to embrace AI and apply it to your current role as well as data-driven insights to drive innovation, productivity, and continuous improvement.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $112,000 - $168,000 . Your base pay will depend on your experience, skills, education, training, and location among other factors. All full-time positions or part-time roles working 30 hours or more a week at Guidewire are eligible for benefits that support their health and well-being including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a company sponsored retirement plan. In addition, some roles may be eligible for the annual company bonus plan, commissions, and/or long term incentive awards which are contingent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, company and employee performance.
