Description

The Senior Director of Finance – Revenue (Sales/COGS) will lead the financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management for all revenue and cost of goods sold (COGS) lines within the North America Ecommerce P&L. This role is pivotal in driving driver-based forecasting, challenging business assumptions, and enabling strategic decision-making through deep financial insights. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned finance leader with strong ecommerce acumen, analytical rigor, and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.

 

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Lead budgeting and forecasting for all revenue and COGS P&L lines across Ecommerce. 
  • Develop and maintain driver-based P&L models to support scenario planning and strategic decision-making. 
  • Partner with Demand Planning and Operations teams to align forecasts with business drivers and market dynamics. 
  • Challenge business assumptions to improve profitability and drive sustainable growth. Drive predictive analytics and elevate forecasting from trend-based to driver-based methodologies. 
  • Support strategic initiatives including profit improvement projects, and ROI analysis.
  • Collaborate with FP&A, Marketing Finance, Supply Chain, and League Finance teams to ensure cohesive financial planning and reporting. 
  • Provide data-driven insights to influence pricing, promotions, and merchandising strategies. 
  • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:

  • Trusted advisor for Finance, Business, and Functional partners across multiple geographies and disciplines.
  • Ability to influence in a complex matrix environment with limited direct reporting authority.
  • Strong business analytics skills with a proven business acumen.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to synthesize complex data and develop innovative solutions.
  • Expertise in ecommerce business models, digital KPIs, and omnichannel financial strategies. 
  • Experience with modern finance tools (e.g., Anaplan, Oracle, Tableau, SAP etc.)
  • Ability to lead through ambiguity and drive change in a fast-paced digital environment.
  • Understanding of Compliance Matters.
  • Excellent project management and presentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
  • Promotes a collaborative team environment and ensures work/life balance.
  • Ability to coach, manage, align, motivate, and develop talent.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management.
  • 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including leadership roles in ecommerce or retail.
  • 5+ years of experience working with senior-level management teams
  • Retail Industry-specific experience preferred

The salary for this position is between $250,000 and $285,000 per year, in compliance with California salary transparency requirements. This range reflects the expected compensation based on qualifications, experience, and location. In addition to the salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
