The Role

We’re looking for a Director of E-Commerce to lead our fastest-growing channels—Amazon and TraceMinerals.com—with a clear mission: drive performance, elevate our digital experience, and deliver 50% YoY growth on Amazon. This is a high-visibility, high-impact leadership role for a strategic eComm operator who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven brand.

This role is not responsible for Amazon media buying, but must partner effectively with internal/external media teams. You’ll also have the opportunity to test new dot.com retail partnerships over time.

Key Responsibilities

Amazon Strategy & Execution
  • Own and evolve Trace’s Amazon strategy to deliver 50% YoY growth

  • Lead day-to-day partnership with Pattern, our Amazon partner

  • Optimize listings, keywords, A+ content, pricing, catalog health

  • Partner on AMS, retail media, and DSP strategy (not execution)

  • Manage Amazon KPIs (BSR, Buy Box, IPI, compliance, inventory)

DTC Website Management
  • Oversee TraceMinerals.com as a branded educational experience

  • Coordinate site experience with product launches and campaigns

  • Manage UX, merchandising, CRO, and content roadmap

  • Track and optimize key KPIs (traffic, bounce, conversion, LTV)

Emerging eRetailer Growth
  • Evaluate and test additional .com opportunities (excluding Walmart/Target.com)

  • Build partnerships aligned with brand values and wellness positioning

Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Collaborate across Brand, Digital Marketing, Sales, and Operations

  • Align with Amazon media teams and fulfillment to ensure flawless execution

  • Report directly to the CMO; contribute to quarterly strategic planning

Qualifications

  • 7–10+ years of eCommerce experience with deep Amazon expertise

  • Proven success growing Amazon sales through partner and listing optimization

  • Experience managing DTC websites and improving performance metrics

  • Strong collaboration skills across brand, marketing, and operations

  • Analytical mindset with fluency in Amazon dashboards and tools

  • Strong operator with a strategic mindset and growth mentality

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $170,000–$180,000
