Role Overview
We’re looking for a Trade Marketing Sr Manager /Director to lead two critical growth engines of the business: trade marketing (in-store execution, shopper marketing, and sales enablement) and e-commerce marketplace support (PDP optimization, creative execution, digital shelf excellence).
This leader will own the strategy and execution of how Khloud shows up at retail—both physically and digitally—while serving as the key liaison between marketing, creative, and sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a retail execution playbook to guide strategy across retailers and define expected marketing support, looks of success, dynamic trade marketing programs, and execution guidelines across retail channels
- Partner with sales team to design customer-specific programs, sell-in decks, and retail activation plans and materials
- Manage retail execution tools and POS, including onboarding agency and fulfillment support in coordination with our opps team
- Manage budgets for shopper marketing, in-store displays, and promotional spend.
- Monitor retail execution and optimize programs to drive velocity, revenue, and ACV.
- Lead strategy and execution of digital marketplace presence across marketplaces and retail partners (Amazon, Instacart, Walmart.com, etc.), defining digital shelf excellence, PDP optimization/best practices, and creative refreshes needed to maximize conversion
- Partner with marketing team on creative development to ensure consistent brand look & feel across platforms
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support e-commerce growth and define ecomm promotions and key initiatives (e.g. Amazon Prime Day strategy)
Qualifications
- 6-10 years of experience in trade marketing, shopper marketing, or sales enablement within CPG / food & beverage brands; startup/early brand lifestage experience preferred
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects that bridge sales, marketing, and operations
- Track record of success in CPG retail execution (displays, POP, promotions) and digital shelf management
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and make fast, informed decisions.
- Entrepreneurial mindset; thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments where speed matters and resourcefulness is key
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, internally and with external partners
- Must be highly organized and comfortable working in spreadsheets and organizational tools
