Job Summary

Doc’s Brands is seeking a data-driven E-Commerce Demand Planner to oversee forecasting, inventory management, and purchasing across all online and wholesale channels. This role ensures the right products are in the right place at the right time—balancing availability, cost, and cash flow.

You’ll own the demand planning process across Amazon, Shopify, and B2B accounts, translating sales trends into accurate forecasts and purchase requirements. This is a hands-on role that blends analytics with supplier management, working closely with marketing, operations, and warehouse teams to keep products flowing from purchase order through fulfillment.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced e-commerce environment, and combines data expertise with strong communication and supplier relationship skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain rolling demand forecasts for 1,000+ SKUs across Amazon, Shopify, and wholesale channels.
  • Use sales history, seasonality, and promotions to improve forecast accuracy and reduce bias.
  • Translate forecasts into purchase plans aligned with supplier lead times, MOQs, and warehouse capacity.
  • Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring accurate data, timely replenishment, and vendor follow-up.
  • Maintain healthy stock levels across all channels while minimizing stockouts and excess inventory.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and warehouses to manage inbound shipments and resolve delays.
  • Track key supply chain KPIs like stockout rate, inventory turns, and working capital utilization.
  • Build and update forecasting and inventory dashboards in Excel, Google Sheets, or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
  • Integrate and analyze data from ERP, Shopify, and Amazon Seller Central for real-time visibility.
  • Support cost analysis for freight, duty, warehousing, and supplier performance.
  • Work with Marketing on forecasts tied to promotions, pricing changes, and product launches.
  • Partner with Finance to align inventory plans with cash flow and working capital goals.
  • Communicate forecast changes, supplier issues, and inventory risks clearly to leadership.
  • Maintain ERP data accuracy for SKUs, lead times, and stock parameters; assist with future system upgrades.

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, or inventory management (e-commerce preferred).
  • Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS, forecasting functions).
  • Experience with ERP or inventory planning systems (e.g., NetSuite, Cin7, Inventory Planner).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into clear business actions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across departments and with suppliers.
  • Experience in the automotive, aftermarket, or consumer goods industries is a plus.
