Job Overview:


We are seeking a data-driven and innovative Ecommerce Strategist to lead the development and execution of our online retail strategy. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing our digital storefronts, improving customer experience, increasing conversion rates, and driving revenue growth across ecommerce platforms. You’ll work cross-functionally with marketing, merchandising, creative, and tech teams to align our ecommerce strategy with brand goals and customer expectations.



Key Responsibilities: 


  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement short- and long-term ecommerce strategies to drive online sales and improve customer engagement
  • Site Optimization: Oversee website content, UX/UI, navigation, and product placement strategies to maximize conversion and average order value (AOV)
  • Platform Management: Manage ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, BigCommerce, Magento) including performance monitoring, functionality improvements, and feature rollouts
  • Analytics & Reporting: Analyze KPIs such as traffic, conversion rate, bounce rate, CLV, CAC, and revenue performance; provide actionable insights and optimization plans
    • Analyze financial data and develop models, forecasts, and reports to identify trends, support strategic planning, and track performance against budgets
  • Campaign Strategy: Collaborate with digital marketing and creative teams to plan and execute campaigns including product launches, seasonal promotions, and email/SMS strategies
  • Customer Journey Mapping: Identify friction points and opportunities within the digital customer journey; recommend UX enhancements
  • Merchandising & CRO: Partner with merchandising teams to ensure product categorization, pricing, and promotional tactics support sales targets
  • Technology & Tools: Evaluate and implement ecommerce tools and technologies to improve operational efficiency and customer experience
  • Stakeholder Communication: Present strategy updates, performance reports, and growth opportunities to senior leadership


Key Requirements:


  • 4-6 years of experience in Ecommerce, Digital Strategy, or Online Merchandising 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Ecommerce, or related field
  • Proven success managing and optimizing ecommerce platforms (Shopify Plus preferred)
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using tools like Google Analytics, GA4, and Excel/Sheets
  • NetSuite ERP experience
  • Knowledge of SEO, CRO, and digital marketing fundamentals
  • Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Experience working with DTC brands or consumer goods strongly preferred
  • Google Looker Studio for dashboard reporting and Klaviyo Email Marketing
