JOB SUMMARY Lead cross-functional e-Commerce initiatives and manage all aspects of e-Commerce from planning, executing, and evaluating strategy. Provide expertise on e-Commerce best practices and identity new areas of opportunity. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES - Collaborate with cross-functional partners to manage all aspects of the e-Commerce business including, business planning, catalog / product content strategy, website & web product development, execution of e-retail marketing strategy, and web analytics & technologies. - Serve as primary point of contact for the e-Commerce organization to internal customers (product and sales divisions) acting as a project manager to evaluate, prioritize, develop, manage, implement and test e-Commerce initiatives. - Provide expertise on current e-Commerce industry best practices and serve as thought-leader for identifying new areas of opportunity beyond current organizational thinking. - Develop and oversee the effective planning,QA and execution of content across the websites and online marketing campaigns to ensure efficiency, accuracy and timeliness of all web content publishing. - Partner with key internal customers to ensure all relevant organizational goals and implications are factored into e-Commerce projects. Consult on projects to ensure e-Commerce principles are incorporated. - Collaborate with sales leadership to drive Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) e-Commerce sales. - Partner with Web Analytics related to D2C and communicate relevant information to executive leadership and internal customers. - Management responsibilities include: - Typically, manages through Directors. - Provides leadership and management to one or more major departments of an operating unit or to a department that has system-wide accountability. - Strategic, tactical and operational planning (24 + months) for the function or department; - Direct budgetary responsibility for one or more departments, functionsor major projects/programs; - Interpret and execute policies for departments/projects and develops; - Recommend and implement new policies or modifications to existing policies; - Hiring staff, recommending pay increases, performing performance reviews, training and development of staff, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies. Education - Bachelor’s Degree Relevant Work Experience - At least 10 years of e-Commerce experience to include at least 5 years of e-Commerce operational or project leadership experience. - At least 5 years of experience directly managing people, including hiring, developing, motivating and directing them as they work. Additional - Experience developing strategic initiatives which align with business goals and budget. - Experience working across multiple strategic business units and functional groups, e.g. IS, Retail Marketing, Finance, Sales, etc., to influence others without direct authority. - Experience managing and conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis on complex data. - Experience presenting to senior management or C-suite with the purpose of influencing company or client decisions. - Position requires travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state). The anticipated salary range for this position:
$201,760.00 - $302,640.00 AnnualThe actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
