Overview


Blake’s Hard Cider is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and creative leader to join our growing team as Director of Product Innovation & Ecommerce. This role combines two critical functions: leading the end-to-end project management of our innovation pipeline and driving growth across our ecommerce channels. The ideal candidate is equal parts process-driven operator and creative contributor, with proven experience managing complex projects and delivering measurable sales results.


Key Responsibilities


Product Innovation (50%)

  • Project Management of Innovation Pipeline: Own the full lifecycle of product innovation for Blake’s Hard Cider and affiliated brands—from ideation to on-shelf availability.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with operations, supply chain, sales, and marketing to ensure all new products, line extensions, and modifications are executed on time and on budget.
  • High-Volume Management: Oversee upwards of 40 active innovation projects at a time, maintaining rigorous attention to detail and forward momentum.
  • Innovation Meetings: Lead and run weekly product innovation meetings, setting agendas, tracking action items, and ensuring accountability.
  • Product Release Calendar: Own and maintain the release calendar for all brands, ensuring projects are aligned with annual resets, category reviews, and retailer timelines.
  • Creative Contribution: Support innovation by contributing ideas, assisting with copywriting, and collaborating with design on graphics and brand direction.

Ecommerce (50%)

  • Channel Ownership: Manage and optimize ecommerce sales across Amazon, brand websites, and new digital channels.
  • Cider Club Expansion: Partner with the VP, Director of Commercialization to expand the Blake’s Cider Club, driving retention and revenue growth.
  • KPI Accountability: Be responsible for ecommerce revenue targets, conversion rates, subscription growth, and overall channel profitability.
  • Digital Sales Strategy: Work with marketing to develop campaigns and promotions that drive ecommerce performance.
  • Management of Website: Partner with Senior Director of Comm. and external vendors to ensure website rebrand is successful and then management and ownership of ongoing website success.  


Requirements

  

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in project management (strong understanding of core project management processes and workflows including but not limited to developing SOPs, creating Gaant charts, building and adhering to timelines, experience utilizing a project management operating system). 
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex cross-functional projects 
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills; comfortable driving accountability across teams.
  • A balance of creativity and operational rigor; ability to think big while managing details.
  • Experience creating and managing a website
Salary Description
$100,000-$135,000
