As the eCommerce Merchandising Coordinator, you’ll support the day-to-day execution of merchandising tasks across the Smartwool website. You’ll help maintain product content, assist with website updates, and support reporting efforts to ensure our customers can easily find and shop for the gear they love.

You’ll work with the Merchandising team and closely with the rest of the eCommerce team to help bring seasonal stories and product assortments to life online. This is a great opportunity for someone who’s detail-oriented, eager to learn, and excited to grow their experience in digital merchandising. As part of the larger eCommerce team, there will also be opportunities for exposure to cross-functional projects and roles in strategic initiatives centered on the product assortment, PDP experience, and shopping tools (product finders, fit finders, etc.) This role works out of our Denver, Colorado HQ (hybrid: 3 days/week).

Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.

  • Pricing Updates: Assisting with applying pricing and markdowns during seasonal promotions.

  • Merchandising Reporting Support: Helping to pull sales and returns data and compile basic reports to support merchandising decisions, and collaboration with Demand Planning.

  • Marketing Coordination: Supporting email and marketing campaign execution by ensuring featured products are merchandised correctly on the site, and in marketing placements.

  • User-Generated Content: Assisting with tagging UGC (user-generated content) to display on product pages or homepage features.

  • Cross-Functional Support: Working with teams across Marketing, Digital Tech, Planning, and Customer Service to support the overall shopping experience.

  • You enjoy working with spreadsheets, systems, and data.

  • You’re excited about eCommerce and learning how merchandising impacts the customer experience.

  • Proactive and curious, with a problem-solving mindset.

  • Comfortable working independently and adapting to shifting priorities.
